1000 vine plants and a lot of confidence have been stolen from Mauro Sebaste new vineyard in Vinchio!

Certain thefts hurt more than others because they take away your heart, which you (wrongly) believe is well stuck within you, they surprise you and you do not know how to react, and the answers you try to give come from anger and discomfort, and they often make you feel worse.

I told this story to tell you about another theft, perhaps even more stupid, shabby, but which directly hits the heart: it was Mauro Sebaste and his family to suffer it.

They stole 1000 vine plants just planted in the vineyard in Vinchio, in a wonderful area for barbera.

There were 1000 young Catherine wheels, popped in the land to take the wind, the sun, the rain, planted to see them grow, to touch them, to savor the fruits, the wine they would give. They were a point of departure and of arrival, they were something you would never have thought of losing. They do not exist anymore.

It is not a theft that will kneel a solid firm like the Mauro Sebaste, in the end the loss is about 2000 euros, but it is likely about losing your trust in others, about not sleeping in the night because of the fear of not knowing what It can happen to you, about losing the serenity and a bit of desire to move on.

You know, Mauro, after the shock that turned my head to the other side when I saw a caravan, I did not resist and I bought back a nice and comfortable caravan, that we are using every summer.

I am convinced that your vineyard, with its new vine plants, will be beautiful, comfortable and in addition will give a great wine that will last much more than one summer.
