The Prapò vineyard is a plot in the Commune of Serralunga d'Alba.

Vinification

From 12 to 16 days in steel vats with carefully controlled temperature.

Ageing

In 1600-liter French barrels, and in some small 400-liter barrels for 36 months.


Bottling

After the necessary evolution in the cellar in barrels, at least 8 months before being marketed.

Color

Ruby red, lively, and intense with slightly orange hues.


Nose

Ethereal nose and aromas of withered roses fail to suppress a slight fragrance of underbrush, which makes it extremely well-balanced and rounded.

Palate

Austere and impressive. With its excellent tannicity, it can have a very lengthy cellar life: 20/25 years. This Barolo reflects the most typical style of the wine's virtuosity and aristocracy.
