Origins

The vineyard is located in Alba district, Santa Rosalia hill.


Type of soil

Mainly clayey, with limestone and sandy

Harvesting time

End of September.


Vinification

Soft pressing, of the grapes, followed by de-stemming and alcoholic fermentation with controlled temperature. Maceration for 3-4 days, and drawing off while still very sweet to complete its fermentation at a low temperature.

Ageing

The wine remains for few months in steel tanks.


Bottling

In May after a slow forming of froth in autoclave, which give a little frizzy bubbles as the result of a second fermentation.

Straw-yellow of varying intensity depending on the vintages.


Nose

Fine and delicate, remember the raspberry and rose.

Palate

Dry, fresh, with delicate raspberry nuances. The fine bubbles that characterizes it derives from the fermentation before bottling.

13 - 13,5 %

Food Pairings

Simple dishes such as cold cuts, boiled meat and cheese. Served a bit fresh, it reveals all its winey and qualities.
