Origins

The vineyards is located in Vinchio village, Asti Province. 280mt of altitude. Exposure Sud-Est.


Type of soil

Sandy soil, with good percentage of silt and veins of clay.

Harvesting time

Mid - End of September


Vinification

Fermentation with frequent daily pumping of the must. The contact with the skins extend 8-10 days in steel tanks with automatic temperature control.

Ageing

Drawing off is immediately followed by malolactic fermentation. After this, the wine is aged 18 months in French oak tonneaux, 400 liters.


Bottling

It takes place after the necessary fining in a barrel; at least 3 months before being marketed.

Nose

Wide, intense red and cherry fruit.

Palate

Structured with a good acidity that gives it a pleasant freshness; powerful but soft and round. Long persistence.
