The vineyards are located in the village of Alba and Diano d’Alba

Vinification

After the green harvest doing in the summer, grapes are manually harvested in 25 kg perforated boxes. After a further hand- selected made on vibrating table, the grape is soft press. Fermentation with daily pumping over. The maceration lasts 8-10 days in steel tanks thermoregulated with an automatic system of pumping over and fulling

Ageing

Malo-lactic fermentation and aging in tonneaux of 400 litri for 12-14 months (60% tonneaux of american oak and 40% tonneaux of french oak)


Bottling

After the necessary refining in barrel, at least 3 months before the release on the market.

Color

Pale, ruby red with orange reflections.


Nose

A delicate bouquet of fruit and licorice with hints of violet, which becomes finer and improves with aging.

Palate

Dry, elegant and with great structure.
